So glad I listened to a close friend’s sage advice- the initial road-trip reservations melted away in the crisp morning temperature and we all fell in love with this stables house Airbnb in the truly beautiful and expansive Lomberdale Hall. Oliver’s family have lived here for 6 generations, talking to him was a meaningful and delightful reminder of the history and culture in this place, and the boys were so happy to follow him around pruning roses when they weren’t chasing Percy the peacock around the grounds. The house sits on Limestone Way so we did daily hikes along the river and lay in deep fields of buttercups.
